Geco rounds are possibly AP or thick steel fmj.
To start a number of the rounds are a little corroded although that can definitely be forgiven considering it’s ammo for a gun that was produced from 1912 through the 1920s over a 100 years old ammo is extremely rare and more often then not just as old as the gun. Another thing a few other rounds from different manufacturers where added five Chilean rounds styer famae are normal copper fmj and don’t react to any magnets the silver tipped rounds on the other hand every single one showed being more magnetic then m39b a premium steel tip fmj that just so happens to penetrate level 3a armor and keep going, a few of the rounds are stamped from slightly before and even during WW2 those rounds are just as magnetic on all sides of the projectile not just the the tip like m39b I’m all round really happy to have rounds for my steyr m1912 to complete a display case and if I can make some go and no-go gauges for it, and do what my grandfather didn’t get to do shoot the gun.
